The Isabella Rose Stage Company is bringing the quality of city studios to the towns and communities of the Valley and Channel one class at a time. Originally formed to teach a single class in Woodbridge in 2023, IRSC currently offers classes in dancing, acting & singing to all ages and in most corners of South-East Tasmania, with more locations to come.

JAZZ

From high-energy kicks and jumps to smooth isolations and improvisation, dancers of all levels will discover their own unique expression within the vibrant world of jazz dance, where individuality and creativity reign supreme.

HIPHOP

Hiphop dance is a dynamic and energetic style that incorporates a wide range of movements, from popping and locking to breaking and freestyling. IRSCs classes are designed to build strength, coordination, and confidence while exploring the latest trends and music.

BALLET

With a focus on posture, poise, and artistry, IRSCs ballet classes are designed to develop traditional technique whilst retaining a strong sense of enjoyment.

MUSICAL

Musical theatre is a captivating blend of acting, singing, and dancing, where performers bring stories to life through song and movement. Classes are filled with energy, creativity, and plenty of opportunities for performance.

LYRICAL

With a focus on smooth, flowing movements that require core strength and precise technique, dancers are taught how to slow down and focus on stability and the power of artistic expression through movement.

TAP

Huonville Scout/Guide Hall - ONLY

Focusing on rhythm, syncopation, and intricate footwork, tap dance classes invite dancers to explore the dynamic world of percussive movement, where every step creates a unique beat and every shuffle tells a story.

In IRSC's drama classes, students refine vocal technique, physical expression, and textual interpretation, readying themselves to captivate audiences across diverse performance settings. Guided by the Australian Curriculum Version 8.4, our classes ensure efficient preparation for college and university courses.

Maya Manaena provides 1-on-1 lessons that empower students of all ages and backgrounds to sing freely and beautifully, spanning genres from Musical Theatre to classical, with opportunities for performance in Eistedfods and completion of AMEB exams.
